Penguin Place
This reserve is a private conservation effort to save one of the world’s most endangered penguins, the yellow-eyed penguin, from extinction. It is funded entirely through profits from this tour operation. We offer your clients the opportunity to visit a working conservation programme and to experience and photograph undisturbed penguin activity at close range through a unique system of hides and tunnels. By coming to Penguin Place your clients will help our effort to replant breeding habitat, build nesting sites, trap predators, care for sick and neglected birds and carry out our research programme.
